About the Home & our approach to care.

The Old Hall Is run under the personal supervision of the manager Diane Vale, Who has many years of experience caring for the elderly. She is assisted by a Deputy Manger and a team of senior carers, carers, housekeeping staff, cooks, and a handy man. They all work as a team ensuring individual attention is given to resident’s needs and requirements.

The home is fully registered by the Care Quality Commission and Lincolnshire County Council to offer long and short-term, respite, day care and holiday care for a relative.

We have trained staff on duty 24 hours a day, all year round. They are very experienced in helping residents’ get the most out of there life and to feel totally at home in a warm, understanding, safe and caring environment. On Arrival each resident will have there own individual personal care plan, tailored to their specific needs taking into account their nutritional needs, personal likes, dislikes and abilities.

A True Home from Home

We have a choice of accommodation, consisting of 25 single en-suite rooms, 5 of which have just been newly built all on ground floor and overlooking the beautiful gardens. We encourage residents to make their room a true home from home, by bringing in favourite furnishings. Its their home and we give residents the respect and dignity to treat it as such.

We are set in large beautiful grounds with outside seating areas, where residents in warm days can sit in a very secure and scenic setting. In our lounges, dining room, and library we offer elegant, comfortable surroundings for residents to socialise with friends and relatives, enjoy the activities that take place, or to simply relax.

To ensure a constant piece of mind, there is a nurse call system in each bedroom, bathroom and lounge through which residents can use to call for assistance anytime. The Home Is fully suitable for wheelchairs and there is also a lift which allows residents of any mobility to live a free and comfortable life in their own home.

We have a chiropodist and hair dresser who visits the care home on a weekly basis. Optical visits can be arranged up on requests. Monthly in-house church service are also available.

Thank you for taking Fred in at such short notice last September it really was a Godsend, he seems very happy and has settled well and takes it as his own home
